Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Beria. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. The short version: use Beria to run your business honestly, your data stays yours, and we provide the tool as it is and do our best to keep it running.
The service
Beria is software for tracking stock, sales, debtors, costs, and a financial overview for a small trading business. It's a record-keeping tool. It doesn't give tax, accounting, or legal advice, and the figures it shows are only as good as what you put in.
Your account
You need an account to use Beria, and you sign in with your email. An owner is responsible for their shop and for the staff accounts they create, including keeping login details private and removing staff who leave. Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has your login, email support@beria.io and reset it. You must be at least 18 and using Beria for a real business.
Your data is yours
The records you enter belong to your business. We store and process them to run the service, as described in the privacy policy, and we don't claim ownership. You can export your books to CSV from inside the app, and you can ask us to delete your data.
Acceptable use
Don't use Beria to break the law, to store data you have no right to, or to interfere with the service, whether by probing, scraping, overloading it, or trying to reach another shop's data. We run one platform for many businesses, so keeping them separate and stable matters.
Availability
We work to keep Beria available and correct, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." We don't promise it will never go down or never have a bug. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses that follow from an outage, a mistake in data you entered, or a backup you didn't take. Nothing here removes rights you have that can't be waived.
Suspension
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or a shop at the request of its owner. If we suspend a shop for a billing or safety reason, we'll tell the owner.
Changes
We may change these terms and will move the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll email account owners. Continuing to use Beria after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
